Bound in the original green cloth gilt, occasional faint foxing, some very small patches of faint damp mottling affecting the covers and one plate coming loose. The finely-drawn coloured plates mostly show animals and birds but there also strikingly attractive plates of shells, beetles, butterflies and fishes.
