Original decorative red cloth, all edges gilt, corners rubbed, re-backed, original spine laid down and slightly spotted.

This classic of mountaineering literature also contains much on the people and scenery of the Himalayas. The writer was the first Englishwoman to have traveled so far into the Himalayas. A very clean and attractive copy of this scarce and interesting book.
