Thick folio (15 by 9 inches) no date but circa 1780, illustrated with 80 copper-engraved plates, mostly showing scenes illustrative of English history.

Nicely bound in full modern dark brown morocco, gilt titling, ink inscriptions on reverse of frontispiece which is a little spotted, front joint beginning to crack but very firm and sound.

An unusually clean and complete copy of this rare and very detailed history.
