Small folio (10 by 7 inches). Titlepage with a large woodcut, printed throughout in black letter. Sidenotes in Roman, old limp wrappers, faint damp mark in outer margin, lower corner of title page slightly creased, short tear in one leaf.

This copy has the first 24 (of 46) leaves only including the title page. A very rare work, sometimes found bound in with William Turner's 'Herbal'. Complete copies sell for several thousand pounds. A wonderful collection of remedies, mainly for treating minor ailments with appropriate herbs.Ref. Johnston, A Cleveland Herbal, no 85.
