Small octavo (6 x 4.5 inches) with 12 coloured plates each printed on thin card, laid on linen and folding concertina style, in red cloth covers, no text or title page.

This rare work published circa 1870, shows 12 different clans mostly engaged in sporting activity, e.g golf, angling, salmon spearing, curling etc. The clans include Grant, Campbell, Murray, McPherson, Stuart, Gordon and Cameron.

A few small ink spots on the front cover otherwise a nice clean copy. A rare ephemeral item with very attractive coloured images of Scottish clansmen.
