Graves with 144 hand coloured etched plates, 3 volumes, octavo (9 x 5.5 inches) finely bound in uniform nineteenth-century full green calf, spines richly decorated in gilt, red labels, gilt rules on covers, marbled end-papers. With the armorial bookplate of Henry Francis Making in each volume.
A little light foxing and a few very minor signs of use to the bindings with very slight weakness in the hinges of one volume otherwise a fine set in a very handsome binding. The binder has discarded the index leaf to volume 1.
The second edition. First published in 1811, both editions are rare.
