The book is complete with a title page, preface leaf and 216 numbered pages. It's the sixth edition, improved and corrected. Paterson, an army officer, produced a number of books. His road books ran to many editions and are easily found but all editions of this Travelling Dictionary are rare. The contents are very clean-no internal marks, signatures or inscriptions and the book is sound and firm in the binding
